We installed this aluminum wheelchair ramp for a client in Lanexa, VA. The client was having trouble getting up and down the steps to enter their home. The client decided it was time to get a wheelchair ramp. However, they didn’t want to block off their front steps or sidewalk. We were able to come up with a modular solution that worked out perfectly for the client. We took down part of the client’s railing on the porch and replaced it with a U-shaped wheelchair ramp. The ramp system we designed was able to land perfectly on the edge of the sidewalk. Now, the client can use the wheelchair ramp and their guests can still use the steps. Here are some before and after pictures of the job.
