We installed this ADA compliant, aluminum wheelchair ramp for a veteran in Columbia, VA. The client was having trouble using their steps, getting in and out of the door, and getting to the driveway. We were able to remove their existing wooden porch and replace it with an ADA compliant wheelchair ramp system. The ramp system consisted of a platform level with their door threshold and a straight ramp section. We also installed a resting platform so that the client doesn’t have to take on the entire length of the ramp in one go. Here are some before and after pictures of the job.
