We installed this ADA compliant, aluminum wheelchair ramp in Windsor, VA. The client wasn’t able to use their steps or get to the driveway. The client was also concerned about having to remove the trees next to their driveway in order to make the ramp fit. However, we were able to come up with a design that suits their needs. Because our ramps are modular and come in all shapes and sizes, we are usually able to make the ramp fit without any major modifications to the client’s yard. We installed a platform level with the client’s front door and an L shaped ramp system. The wheelchair ramp passed right in between the two trees next to their driveway. Now, the client is able to get in and out of the house easily and they were able to keep their trees. Here are some before and after pictures of the job.
